"Lovely dress shopping experience!"
A review of Biento Madame by Helen Kirk - Friday 9th of October 2009
After a horrible visit to Jean Millar in which I was told that it was "too early" to shop for my wedding dress(even though my wedding was 11 months away). I wandered over to Biento Madame on the offchance that they would at least let me into the shop and not close the door in my face as the other shop done! I was greeted by a lovely lady called Pauline, who along with the other staff made shopping for my wedding dress a walk in the park! They were shocked that I had been turned away at the other place, as they said their delivery dates for special orders wasnt that long, with a number of companys offering what they call a "rush cut" that gets dresses here even quicker from the manufacturer. Anyway, they showed me a number of styles, I found the dress of my dreams, plus! they even threw in a free veil! which I thought was great.Another bonus was that I had my 6 month old daughter in her pram at the time, I was told in that other shop that I would have to leave my baby outside in the street as prams werent allowed in! My jaw just dropped when she said that!. The lovely girls were more than accommodating and even offered to feed my baby for me when she started to get hungry while I was in a dress! couldnt believe how helpful Margaret ( the owner) and Pauline were, Thankyou girls! you made my day, you really did! xoxo Stay away from jean millar!!! they suck!
