"The Church up the hill"

A review of Gilnahirk Presbyterian Church by Stanley Corry - Sunday 10th of January 2010

My wife Ray and I and our two children attended Gilnahirk Church for many years while living in Cherryvalley. Both of our children were married in Gilnahirk Church and Ray and I were involved in the mat bowling there as well of course as attending services there on Sundays.
Gilnahirk was always a nice friendly Church and we had many very happy memories while living there.
We left Belfast 29 years ago to live in Calgary Alberta Canada and until my darling wife died last May we often sat and talked about the days in Gilnahirk where we had many friends. Rev Best and Rev Reid were wonderful people as well as their wives and made great friends.
I now attend Grace Presbyterian Church Calgary Canada
